I had a realization last night while watching the movie, The Secret. It wasn’t something I haven’t thought of before, but I decided I’m going to bring this into my life. STOP PUSHING! Seriously, STOP, and just let things come.
The thing that I realized while watching the movie was that it’s not going to help what I want to come by doing, doing, doing. Or worse, stressing that I’m confused or annoyed because I don’t have what I want.
I’ve specifically told the universe what I want, and what I’d like guidance in. I’ve opened my soul to receive it. I’ve visualized how I’ll feel when I get what I want. I’m continuing to do the things that make me happy, even documenting what the activities are and how exactly I feel while doing them.
Now it’s time for me to let the reigns go and allow the universe to guide and provide.
I’m stopping my pushing. I’m open to receiving. And I actually feel so much less stress just saying this and thinking about it. It’s no longer up to me, come on universe, bring it. I’m ready!
Here’s my advice to you, if you’d like to join me to STOP PUSHING!
- Write down what you are doing when you feel really good and happy. Also, write down what you are doing when you feel really bad and stressed. Write down exactly what the activity is and exactly how you feel.
- Write down exactly what you want. Be as specific as possible. Also, write down how you’ll feel once you get what you want. Visualize yourself having what you want – how do you feel? Write it down. Download our Get What Your Want PDF to really accelerate this process.
Here’s a link to a spreadsheet I created to jot down the above. Notice there are two different sheets. One for what you’re doing and how you’re feeling (What I’m Doing_How I’m Feeling), and one for what you want and how you’ll feel when you get it (What I Want_How I’ll Feel). I recommend you copy it and rename it, and start filling it in yourself.
Now that you have those things down, keep adding to the list. Continue doing things that make you happy and write down how you feel. Come back to these lists often. Review them and visualize those feelings, really feel the feelings.
Now relax and let everything come to you!!!!!!
